Murungai Kambu Soup Recipe- Moringa Stem Soup Recipe- Super Suvai Tamil

All parts of the Moringa Tree have many medicinal benefits. It is a great supplement for iron deficiency.In this blog post, I am going to share the Murungai Kaambu Soup Recipe(Moringa Stem Soup Recipe). It is a very healthy soup and its specialty is everyone can drink this moringa soup irrespective of their ages.
Ingredients required for Murungai Kaambu Soup Recipe:
- Moringa leaf Stem (Murungai Kambu)- one cup
- Tomato (Thakkali)- one (medium-size)
- Big Onion (Periya Vengayam)- one
- Pepper (Milagu)- 6 nos
- Salt (Uppu in Tamil)- As required
- Cinnamon (Lavanga Pattai)- One inch
- Turmeric powder (Manjal Thool)- half tablespoon
- Oil (Ennai)- for tempering purpose
- Green Chili (Pachai Milagai)- 1 nos
- Toor Dal (Thuvaram Paruppu)- one tablespoon
- Water (Thanneer)- 3 cups
Murungai Kambu Soup Recipe Cooking Method:
- Chop the Moringa leaf stem into 4 inched pieces and wash it well.
- Chop the onion and tomato into big slices because the onion and tomato sizes are very important in soup dishes.
- Cook the Toor Dal and mash it like a paste.
- Heat some oil in the pan, fry the cinnamon, add pepper, chopped onions, tomatoes and saute well till the raw smell goes off.
- Then add Murungai Kaambu, green chilies, and saute slightly.
- Add three cups of water to it and let it mixture boil.
- Add turmeric powder, salt, and Toor Dal Paste and mix it well, let it boil.
- Soup is ready to taste, serve it hot with some pepper powder on top.
