Onion Samosa recipe for snacks cooking method:
- First, we start with the batter because it takes 30 minutes to set.
- In a mixing vessel, add 250 grams of all-purpose flour, salt, oil and mix it thoroughly for an even taste.
- Then add an adequate amount of water and knead it softly. Don't make it watery it should be like chapati dough. After Kneading cover it with a lid and leave it for 30 minutes.
- Heat some oil in the pan, then add coarsely chopped onions, chili powder you can also use green chilies instead of chili powder, add some salt and coriander, and mint leaves.
- Stir it lightly, our intention is to just mix the onion with the chili in the heat so don't cook the onions.
- After 30 minutes, divide the dough into 4 to 5 equal parts and start rolling it like a chapati batter.
- Each batter should be the same size because these batters are going to be the samosa sheets.
- Place the batter one above another using some oil and flour in the middle and again roll it.
- Heat the pan, spray some oil over it, and put the samosa batter in the pan.
- Just cook it on a low flame for 1 minute and allow it to cool
- Now cut the uneven edges of the samosa batter and cut it into four vertical parts.
- Separate the layers of each part. It is going to be our samosa sheets.
- Now make a cone of samosa sheets and put some onion stuff into it and seal the edges of the cone with a paste made of flour and water.
- Repeat step 13 for all samosa sheets.
- Heat a sufficient amount of oil in for frying. Now start to fry the samosa.
- Turn them over and wait till it becomes crisp and golden.
