In this, you will get my Seeni Urundai recipe. This is a simple Rava sweet recipe and it is one type of Rava laddu. The procedures for making this sweet is very simple. But the amount of ingredients is very important. You have to be careful with this other than that this Rava sweet recipe is quite easy.
You can get 10 pieces of Seeni Urundai with this amount of Ingredients. If you want more, you can increase the ratio of the ingredients. The preparation will take only 5 minutes and for cooking, it will take 20 minutes.
Ingredients required for Seeni Urundai:
- Rava (Godhumai Rava)- 250 grams
- Sugar (Poditha Sakkarai)- 250 grams
- Cashew Nuts (Mundhiri Paruppu)- 10 to 15 pieces
- Cardamom (Elakkai)- 2 pieces
- Ghee (Nei)- 250 grams
Seeni Urundai Recipe/ Rava Sweet Recipe Cooking Method:
- Heat the wide pan, add 250 grams of Rava and roast it without adding ghee. You have to roast the Rava till its raw smell goes away because the raw smell will spoil the taste of the sweet.
- Shift the roasted Rava to the mixer and grind it till it becomes a nice powder.
- Melt the ghee with the help of a pan and keep it warm.
- Take away the Roasted Rava powder from the mixer and keep it in a bowl.
- Put the sugar and Cardamom pieces into the mixer and grind them like a nice powder.
- Now mix the Roasted Rava powder and Sugar powder in a wide vessel and mix it thoroughly for a good taste.
- Add Roasted Cashew nuts to the Rava powder.
- In this stage, add the warm melted ghee to the above mixture and mix it thoroughly and make it as small balls.
- Decorate the balls with roasted cashew nuts.
- Allow the Rava balls to set and then our delicious Seeni Urundai is ready to taste.
