Ingredients required for Simple Sweet Recipe:
- Wheat flour- 250 grams(You can also use all-purpose flour)
- Water- As required(use milk instead for good taste)
- Salt- half tablespoon(for batter)
- Oil- one tablespoon(to get smooth batter)
- Sugar- As per your taste(you can also use cane sugar or jaggery)
- Coconut wedges- 7 to 8(Instead of coconut you can use dried fruits)
Simple Sweet Recipe Cooking Method:
- Take a mixing vessel, add 250 grams of wheat flour, salt, oil.
- Mix the above ingredients well, add some water, and start to make it like a dough.
- Its texture should be like a dough for chapati. Knead it well and cover the mixing bowl and allow the dough to sit for 30 minutes.
- Now grate the coconut into fine pieces.
- After 30 minutes, separate the dough into 4 to 5 parts and start to roll each of the parts.
- The batter should be thin and smooth because it increases the tenderness of the sweet.
- In the wide pan, Heat the water, wait till it boils
- Put the batter in the water and fry it like a Poori, but don't try to turn it because it will break.
- Allow it to cook and take it off the boiling water.
- Repeat the same procedure for all batters and keep all the sweet sheets separately.
- Now sprinkle some grated coconut and sugar in the middle of the water poori and roll it.
- Repeat step 11 for all the water poori and arrange it on a plate and sprinkle some grated coconut above it.
- Simple Sweet is ready for you to taste.
