Jalebi Sweet Recipe- Super Suvai Tamil
In this post, I am sharing the special Jalebi sweet recipe. It is a very famous North Indian Sweet recipe. Jalebi may available in all sweet shops. Making Jalebi at home is a very easy process. Just learn this recipe and experiment with it in your home.

Ingredients required for Jalebi Recipe:
- Urad Dal (Ulutham Paruppu)- 220 grams
- Rice (Pacharisi)- 30 grams
- Sugar (Sakkarai)- 1 kilogram
- Lemon (Elumichai Palam)- 1
- Rose Essence (good quality)- 1 tablespoon
- Saffrons (Kunguma Poo)- One pinch
- Oil or ghee (Ennai Allathu Nei)- For frying
Jalebi Sweet Recipe Cooking Method:
- In a wide pan, add sugar, saffron rose essence, and pour water till the sugar gets fully immersed.
- Then heat the sugar solution on a low flame when it attains the stick texture turn off the stove and keep it warm.
- Soak rice and urad dal together in a bowl for 30 minutes, then drain it and grind it in a grinder.
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan, immediately after grinding the batter. Pour it in the oil using the Jangiri making tool.
- Make 4 to 5 jalebi at the same time. Once it turns golden brown, immerse the jalebi in the sugar syrup for 10 minutes.
- Then take it off from the sugar syrup and keep it in a separate bowl.
- Repeat the above procedures for the remaining batters.
- Serve it hot, try this recipe during any function or festival.
